HASAD (envy) will only lead a person to ruin. His life will never feel calm. There is only endless restlessness.
Shaykh Al Utsaimin ra has given advice about the dangers of hasad:
They should fear Allah and beware of hasad. For indeed hasad eats up goodness as fire devours firewood.
Hasad will only cause sadness and anxiety for the perpetrator. Because every time the favor of Allah increases on the envious person, the hatred and regret will flare up in his heart.
While he himself is not capable of being like the envious.
Then hasad is a form of protest against Allah's destiny and His provisions. Because he hates the pleasures that Allah gives to others.
Hasad is a crime against an envious person because usually a hasad person tries to cover up the favors of the envied person, humiliate and undermine his honor.
Even hasad is the morals of the Jews as Allah says in His verse. So hasad is a despicable and despicable character.
Hasad does not arise except because of a weak soul and bad prejudice against Allah azza wa jalla and envy towards the Muslims.
