Sunnah Prayers After Fajr Study, What Prayers ?

Assalamu 'Alaikum Warahmatullah. . . Mr. Ustadz, I took part in the study at dawn and finished the study at around 06.30. After the study, many worshipers performed the sunnah prayer, what kind of prayer is that? Is it already 06.30 in Dhuha? Thanks for the answer.

Answer:

Wa'alaikumus Salam Warahmatullah... Al-Hamdulillah. Shalawat and greetings to the Messenger of Allah -Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam-, his family and friends.

The prayer that the congregation performs after the study of the dawn ba'da you mean is the Ishraq prayer. Including Duha prayer at the beginning of time; some time after sunrise.

The start of the Duha prayer time is after sunrise and one spear rises, -about 15 to 20 minutes after sunrise-.

The virtue of the Ishraq prayer is shown in the hadith of Anas bin Malik Radhiyallahu 'Anhu,

 لَّى الْغَدَاةَ اعَةٍ اللَّهَ لُعَ الشَّمْسُ لَّى انَتْ لَهُ حَجَّةٍ امَّةٍ امَّةٍ امَّةٍ

"Whoever prays Fajr in congregation, then sits dhikr to Allah until the sun rises, then prays two rak'ahs, then he gets the reward of Hajj and Umrah perfect (repeated three times)." (Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Hasanan by Al-Albani in al-Mishkah, no. 971)
