WHAT DOES IT HAVE TO BE DONE, PAY ZAKAT OR PAY TAX ?

ISL4M.COM, TANJUNG ENIM - In the pillars of Islam, zakat is the third point after the creed and prayer. That is, the importance of zakat is under the creed and prayer, even before fasting. This shows that Islam is a religion that prioritizes sharing with fellow Muslims.

Not only that, a hadith also says that zakat is a sign of Islamic perfection.

"Surely your perfection of Islam is if you pay zakat for your property." (HR Imam Bazzar).

From this hadith it is illustrated that Islam motivates the ummah to continue to be persistent in their efforts so they can be able to fulfill zakat and share with others.

In the rules of society, we also have the same rules as zakat, which is to pay part of the assets to be regulated to the poor, which we know as taxes.
