Miracles And Privileges Of Maqam Ibrahim

TIMES OF ISLAM, TANJUNG ENIM - Previously it needs to be straightened out (because there are still misunderstandings), that the ibrahim is not the grave of the Prophet Abraham, but his former footing when building the Ka'bah with his son Prophet Ismail.

Allah Ta'ala mentioned the address of Abraham and made the ma'am Ibrahim the place of prayer. Allah Ta'ala said,

ﻭَﺍﺗَّﺨِﺬُﻭﺍ ﻣِﻦْ ﻣَﻘَﺎﻡِ ﺇِﺑْﺮَﺍﻫِﻴﻢَ ﻣُﺼَﻠًّﻰ

"And make a part of Abraham's prayer place. [QS. al-Baqarah: 125]

Allah Ta'ala mentions that there are tangible signs in the name of Abraham, Allah Ta'ala said,

ﻓِﻴﻪِ ﺁَﻳَﺎﺕٌ ﺑَﻴِّﻨَﺎﺕٌ ﻣَﻘَﺎﻡُ ﺇِﺑْﺮَﺍﻫِﻴﻢَ ﻭَﻣَﻦْ ﺩَﺧَﻠَﻪُ ﻛَﺎﻥَ ﺁَﻣِﻨًﺎ

"For him there are real signs, (among them) ma'am Ibrahim; whoever enters it (the Temple) is safe. [QS. Ali Imran: 96-97]

Ibn Kathir said Mujahid's opinion that Abraham's office was a sign of the footprint of the prophet Ibrahim, he said,

وقال مجاهد: أثر قدميه في المقام آية بينة

"The former second foot of Abraham on the program is a real sign." [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]

Some of the features and wonders of ma'am Ibrahim:

1. Some scholars say that ibrahim and hajar aswam are stones from heaven

2. From these footprints, a friend who is an expert in seeing nasab through our equations states that our footsteps of the ibrahim maqam are very similar to the feet of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam

3. Maqam Ibrahim is awake for a very long time, which is thousands of years and remains well maintained until now, since long ago it was put up without special security. Had been lost or stolen for a while, but soon returned quickly. This is proof of God's guarding on Ibrahim's station whose shape is not too large (even though small objects are easily lost and neglected)

4. Maqam ibrahim is a stone, even though there are many idols of stone around the Ka'bah, but no one has worshiped the Ma'am Ibrahim until now.

Note:
It used to be very visible on the feet and toes according to the shape of the perfect foot, but because it was too often rubbed by human hands, the marks were not clearly visible anymore. Al-Baghawi explained,

الذي قام عليه إبراهيم ، وكان أثر قدميه فيه فاندرس من كثرة المسح بالأيدي

"(Maqam Ibrahim) is the place where the prophet Abraham was founded. Previously there were traces of both of his feet (clearly), but were erased because too many were rubbing them. "[Tafsir Al-Baghawi]
