Here's The Law For Drinking Camel Urine According To Jurisprundece Experts

TIMES OF ISLAM, TANJUNG ENIM - Fuss about the law of drinking camel urine, Fiqh Expert Dr. Ahmad Zain An-Najah explained, the scholars differed on that.

Imam Ahmad, he pointed out, argued that camel urine was holy and lawful to drink. The argument is the Hadith which states that the dirt and urine of animals whose meat is halal is eaten, the law is sacred.

Whereas Imam Syafii, he continued, argued that camel urine was unclean and unclean to drink. The general argument is that, because of the urine of unclean humans, camel urine is also unclean.

However, Zain said, Imam Syafii allowed treatment with unclean water if in an emergency. "There is no other medicine, so it is permissible," explained the doctor who graduated from Al-Azhar University during a discussion about camel urine at Masjid Raya Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, Tuesday (01/09/2018) AQL event which was also broadcast live via streaming.

Zain said, the scholars discussed this issue actually from 13 centuries ago. "We just don't read the school of the scholars, so it's noisy," he sarcastically said.

Although the scholars differed on the law of camel urine, according to him this did not matter.

"We respect differences of opinion. Those who want to think that camel urine is holy is not a problem, who thinks that camel urine is unclean is not a problem, "he concluded.
